Meet Stephanie Wedryk: Bringing Product Innovation and Market Expertise to ZymeCO
Jenny Phillips, Director of Marketing • July 10, 2026

ZymeCO is excited to welcome Stephanie Wedryk, Ph.D., to the team as the VP of Product.

Stephanie brings a strong background in product, market, and business development spanning the agriculture, horticulture, and turf industries. Throughout her career, she has helped introduce innovative technologies that solve meaningful challenges for growers while creating value throughout the agricultural supply chain.

Most recently, Stephanie held leadership roles with Profile Products and HGS Bioscience, where she worked to develop and commercialize products that deliver measurable results in the field. Her passion for innovation and bringing the right solutions to market aligns perfectly with ZymeCO's mission to transform agriculture through enzyme-based technologies.

"As a product person at heart, I'm excited by the opportunity to help solve grower problems," Stephanie said. "ZymeCO has developed a truly differentiated technology platform, and I look forward to helping bring those solutions to more customers."

“Stephanie joins ZymeCO at a pivotal time as we build on the momentum of our recent $4 million Series A financing round,” said Mark Slavens, Ph.D., CEO of ZymeCO. “This investment is helping us scale our enzyme bio-manufacturing platform, accelerate field validation, and expand commercialization across agriculture, golf, lawn care, and sports turf. Stephanie’s product-focused leadership and experience across agriculture, horticulture, and turf will be valuable as we bring more practical, science-driven solutions to market. She understands how to connect customer needs with differentiated technology, and that is exactly what we need as we enter this next stage of growth.”

Originally from Chicago, Stephanie now lives in Colorado, a state she believes is becoming a hub for agricultural innovation. She is excited to contribute to a growing ecosystem of companies advancing crop production, regenerative agriculture, robotics, animal health, and sustainable technologies while helping extend Colorado's influence on agriculture around the world.

Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys staying active through running, spending time baking, and making memories with her two sons, ages 7 and 9.

Stephanie's experience, customer-focused mindset, and passion for innovation make her an outstanding addition to the ZymeCO team. We are excited to have her onboard as we continue advancing enzyme technologies that improve crop production, turf management, and environmental sustainability.

Please join us in welcoming Stephanie to ZymeCO!
